Beef Ravioli Lasagna

Beef Ravioli Lasagna

  • 1 1/2 Lbs. Ground Beef
  • 1 can (28 oz.) Hunts Four Cheese Spaghetti Sauce
  • 2 Bags (1 lb each) Beef raviolis or cheese raviolis (your choice)
  • 2 Bags (8 oz.) Shredded triple cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 13×9 baking dish with non-stick spray. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the ground beef and onion. Brown the beef, crumbling it as it cooks. Drain the grease from the pan. Add the spaghetti sauce and garlic and simmer for 5 minutes, stirring often, over low heat. Stir in garlic powder, and onion powder and simmer 5 more minutes. Spoon 1/3 of the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread across the bottom. Top with a single layer of ravioli, and  1/3 of the sauce. Repeat the layers, ending in marinara sauce. Sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove cover and bake for 10 minutes more. Remove from the oven and let set for 10 minutes before cutting and serving.

You may have notice that I didn’t have the ingredient ricotta cheese or cottage cheese. My family seems likes it better without it. So, if you would to add ricotta cheese or cottage cheese follow the instruction below.

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup parmesan

Mix ricotta, egg, and Parmesan in a small bowl. Now, can be added between layers.
