Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole
You'll love this homestyle breakfast casserole. This recipe is made with sausage, bacon, eggs, cheese and of course tater tots.
Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage
- 1/2 medium onion diced
- 8 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese triple cheddar
- 28 oz. frozen tater tots
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium nonstick skillet, combine the sausage and onion over medium-high heat.
- Cook, breaking up the sausage into crumbles until browned and no pink remains.
- Drain grease from the sausage mixture and spread it in the casserole dish.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
- Pour the eggs mixture over the sausage mixture.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese and all of tater tots in the casserole dish.
- Bake for 40 minutes.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the casserole and bake for an additional 5 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
