Equivalents for Cooking Ingredients:
1 lb. Apples = 3 or 4 medium
1 lb. Bananas = 3 or 4 medium
1 lb. Beans, dried = 5 to 6 cups cooked
1 quart Berries = 3 1/2 cups
1 slice Bread =1/2 cup crumb
1/4 lb. Cheese, grated = 1 cup
1 oz. Chocolate, 1 square = 1 Tablespoon melted
