Easy Fried Pickles
There’s something completely irresistible about fried pickles. They’re salty, crispy and you can never just have one. They’re the ideal game day snack or party appetizer. Fried pickles are delicious on their own, but even better with ranch dressing.
Servings: 6-8 Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
1 (16 oz.) jar dill pickle chips, drained and patted very dry
Vegetable oil for frying
1 (9 oz.) package Louisiana chicken fry mix
Directions:
Heat 3/4 inch vegetable oil in a large skillet. Follow directions on back of chicken fry package for mixing. Dip 1/4 of pickles in wet batter. Then coat pickles in dry batter. Add pickles to the skillet and fry until golden brown and crispy, about 2 minutes. Use a slotted spoon, transfer pickles to a paper towel-lined plate. Repeat with remaining batches of pickles. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.
